Cooper’s, red-tails, peregrines, oh my!

Ashely Quick

Updated: Jan 3, 2022

While spring is for the baby birds, winter is for the raptors. During winter food can become more difficult to for birds of prey to find. This leads to them becoming emaciated, thin and weak; leaving them grounded and in vulnerable situations like getting hit by cars or unable to escape other predators.

Luckily we have caring community members who see that they’re in need and call us to help get them safely.

With rain predicted, we will be here for any animal that may not fair well with the storms. Found an animal in need of help? Please call us at (408)779-9372 or message us on Facebook
